One is the western boot, which looks more similar to the classic cowboy boot that everybody recognizes: a tall boot shaft, a pointed toe and a moderately high, angled heel. The other type of boot is called the roper which normally possesses a short boot shaft, a rounded toe and a short, straight heel. Roper boots are usually lower in price due to the lower shaft, so less leather is needed.

Yet, cowboy boots are on average amongst the costliest styles of shoes, but they are worth it. They are rugged and can last very long. They als remain stylish for very long.
