Frye Carson Pull on Boot - What Women Want in Western Boots, Sizing Tips

By Tonya Brisnehan

Recently I took note of a rather hot trend forming in the Frye Boots collection for the Frye Carson Pull On boot for women. Of all the boots in the Carson collection, this boot is more specifically looked for by women than any other.

Why would they be so popular? There are a number of reasons women love this particular "Pull On" style from Frye - here are some reasons that you may want to purchase them for yourself:

Comfort and Fit - This point comes up in reviews more than any other single point. They are lightweight (especially for a western style boot), and their vintage leather is extremely soft and easy to wear - not only for the upper part of the boot, but they are known to be flexible about the foot and toe area, helping them to conform easily to the size and shape of feet, even when they are fitting a bit snugly.

Looks - This is sort of a given, and when you see these boots you will know why. They basically are a western boot style, with a tapered but rounded toe - just the right amount of "cowboy" look for many women's tastes. They are also available in some fun colors ranging anywhere from traditional brown shades and black to bright red and a gorgeous shade of blue that will definitely stand out among any crowd! The top of the boots can be worn a bit slouchy, or even cuffed due to the softness of the leather.

Sizing Tip: Per consumer reviews, these boots may fit slightly larger than your normal size. For example, for a woman who wears a size 8, these boots might fit better at a size 7 ½. Also, if you have a rather narrow foot you might want to consult the merchant you choose to buy the boot from on which size to purchase.

If you are on the hunt for an absolutely gorgeous western boot for women that fits your needs for comfort and style, the Women's Frye Carson Pull On Boot will likely be right up your alley!

What Type of Boot?

By Riana Jones

If you are thinking of buying yourself a pair of boots, then it is vital to decide on what kind of boots you want before you start looking. Bhutto made of different jobs and styles, so you need to be clear in your mind what you are looking for otherwise you will waste a lot of time.

For example if you wanted a bit of a different style you could go for the ankle boot. These boots go in and out of fashion regularly, but right now are considered quite fashionable and hence are definitely an option. You need to be careful what you wear them with but with some outfits and in some situations they can give a different look to help you to stand out from the crowd. On the other hand buying a pair of knee-high boots will provide a different kind of look to your outfit, but again you should be careful what you wear them with.

On a completely different note, if you are buying a parent work boots then you'll need to look for completely different characteristics. For example Boots can provide you with a sturdy boot that is comfortable, as well as providing a lot of protection if you need it. Most of them are steel toed to provide you with that extra bit of safety that you need if you work in a job that requires foot protection. When buying a work boot you need to make even more sure that you buy the right size so they are comfortable as you will be in them a long time.

There is so much more to be said about buying a new pair of boots that I created two sites specifically for it, and you can find then at cat boots and the platform ankle boot.

Alpinestars Tech 2 Boots - Small Boots, Huge Reputation

By Grant Draper

Some riders may not see the point of small boots, but I certainly do. They were originally designed for the maniacs on mini bikes, but since have been used by children and riders on smaller ATV's. The great thing about small boots is they offer a lot of protection, but allow the rider to maneuver a small bike a lot easier than if they were wearing full size boots. They are part of the Tech series in the Alpinestars range, which means that quality is always the first priority.

The lower cut design does not mean that protection has been compromised. They still offer the strength within the structure and offer extremely good ankle and foot protection. The flexibility and comfort makes a rider feel like they are wearing casual shoes!

The main reason for the high levels of comfort is the materials that the Alpinestars Tech 2 Boots are constructed from. The materials include the likes of top grain leather and a high tech breathable line.

An important part of any boot is the buckles. This may not seem too important, but the quality of the buckles actually determines the quality of the fit. The buckles are produced using a high impact-resistant injection molded TPU material, which means they are durable, but are quick to release. For that extra tight fit, Alpinestars have incorporated a PVC and Velcro sealing at the top of the boot; this also ensures that the likes of mud and water can enter the interior of the boot.

If you are looking for a quality boot to use on a mini bike or small ATV, then these boots are the ones for you.

Thanks for reading my article...

Chippewa Motorcycle Boots - How Are They Made?

By Penelope Morgan

Chippewa boots can last you for as long as a decade. They are weather resistant, durable, tough and comfortable. Once you have bought a pair of these boots, you are ready to embark on an adventurous motorcycle trip.

Chippewa boots are the best when it comes to comfort and quality. Their range of motorcycle boots follow this general rule, and offer the rider all the protection from bad terrain, rocky roads, and rough weather. They always live up to their great reputation. Chippewa boots come in lots of styles and sizes; there is one pair to suit every taste and every purpose. Over the last one hundred years, Chippewa has become known for its excellent durable footwear.

Motorcycling boots have to have a few defining characteristics. They have to be able to take on the hurdles of the motorcycling sport in general. Not unlike work bots, motorcycle boots have to be able to withstand a large range of temperatures, hot and cold, and keep the wearer's feet warm, dry and comfortable. You never know in advance how the terrain will be, and your boots should be able to tackle asphalt, dirt, stony roads and other rough ways with magnanimity. You do have a wide range of Chippewa boots to take your pick from, but all of these have some common traits. These are:

Goodyear welt construction- most other brands of bots use ordinary glue or adhesive available locally. Chippewa, though, swears by Goodyear welt construction. This way, they ensure that your boots will last a very long while. This also helps the upper and the sole stay together.

Vibram soles- vibram is unique in its own right. You can make sure your feet are comfortable, it gives you a firm grip on the riding surface and long lasting longevity. Each vibram sole is made up of advanced tread designs, and you get a great grip, irrespective of whether you are walking or running or riding.

Leather upper- Chippewa uses thicker leather for the uppers than other boot manufacturers. The extra thickness is beneficial for you. You are protected from chilly draughts, heat from the exhaust pipes and other bad conditions the road may bring forth. These thick leather uppers are more comfortable than what you get in other boots. You can move freely and change your position too. Each upper contains some oil, which makes it water resistant and weather proof.

Insole- with a pair of Chippewa boots, you get either a thick, padded, cushy insole, or one made of the classic TEXON. The arch will give you the best support, for your mid foot, and the cup of the heel is the best you get too.

Chippewa makes boots in heights ranging from 6 inches to 17 inches. Different heights will give you different levels of protection.

Chippewa uses the latest technology in the manufacture of their boots.

Chippewa's first line of boots was logger boots, made of leather and spiky soles. These boots became tremendously popular, so Chippewa launched more lines of footwear, mostly boots.

Chippewa now manufactures boots for sportsmen and for other people who just need a great pair of boots for any purpose. The quality and comfort truly surpasses all other brands'.
